Planning staff brief committee on WLIA award, permitting and NG911 grant
Summary
Staff reported that the county's Comprehensive Plan Story Map won first place at the WLIA conference; updates were also provided on permitting activity, Stonybrook cleanup, household hazardous waste, NG911 grant work and parcel fabric improvements.
During the March 12 meeting staff reported on recent conferences, awards and ongoing departmental work. Meuer said Max and Andy presented at the Wisconsin Land Information Association (WLIA) conference and that the county's Comprehensive Plan Story Map took first place in the interactive mapping competition.
Department staff provided routine updates on zoning, sanitary and land division approvals, noted permitting activity and discussed the Stonybrook cleanup. Staff also updated the committee on the household hazardous waste program, updates to the sanitary and zoning permit viewer, NG911 grant activity, and parcel fabric work. Committee members were informed of upcoming staff attendance at the Wisconsin County Code Administrators conference March 18–20.
