County Clerk Beth Leary updated the Committee on April election status: five districts had no candidates on the ballot. Districts 1, 5, 12 and 13 had registered write-ins (whose names will appear on tally sheets and be provided at polls if requested); District 3 had no registered write-in, leaving no named option for that district on the ballot.
The minutes note that registered write-ins will be counted and that the county will follow election procedures for write-in handling. The Clerk did not provide candidate names for the registered write-ins in the minutes; election administration and ballot details will follow statutory processes in the run-up to the April election.
