At the Finance and Administration Committee, Council-at-large Peter J. Winzig acknowledged receipt of the February 2026 Financial Reports and said investments and municipal income tax revenue are tracking as planned; Finance Director Jim Milton said there were no significant fluctuations from January to February and that the first-half tax settlement arrives in March.
Mr. Winzig and Director Milton outlined four resolutions on the Regular Meeting agenda to certify unpaid charges to the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer for collection. The recapitulation listed grass cutting charges of about $8,000; sewer rental and refuse charges affecting 569 parcels totaling about $356,000; unpaid sidewalk repair/construction charges on 24 parcels totalling $28,699; and one tree-removal charge of $2,510. Mr. Winzig explained this certification is a yearly exercise to apply unpaid charges to resident tax bills.
No committee votes were recorded at this meeting; the resolutions were placed on the Regular Meeting agenda for formal action.
