Bay Village honors firefighters with 'Stork Award' after in-vehicle childbirth

Fire Chief Chris Lyons thanked Dr. Spaner and the firefighters—Justin Fischback, Eric Leitner and Sam Gmetro—and noted a photograph session with the Koch family followed the presentation.
The recognition emphasized coordination between medical direction and the fire department; the award recipients were called forward to receive pins to wear on their uniforms. Mayor Koomar and other council members attended the presentation.
