A representative of Lemonade Day Coastal Bend described the program as free and curriculum-based, saying the initiative “provides a meaningful opportunity for the youth of Gregory to gain confidence, take initiative, and experience the rewards of hard work and creativity.” The organizer announced a parents’ night for sign-ups ahead of the event and asked residents to attend and support the children. Council members thanked program staff and encouraged community participation.
