Greenville officials moved forward on a Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) revitalization grant by approving a professional services contract with MTG Engineers and Surveyors.
Madison (speaker 5) told the council, "Earlier this year, we were awarded the TDA downtime Grant. This is just moving forward with our engineering contract with MTG, engineers and surveyors." Councilmembers asked no questions and the council approved the resolution 6-0.
The contract formalizes engineering work for the 2024–2025 revitalization project and lets staff proceed to design and procurement steps required under the grant terms. No public testimony was offered on the item.
