Weinstein Elected Board President; DiMartino Named Vice President at Hastings‑on‑Hudson Reorganization

The Hastings‑on‑Hudson Board of Education opened its annual reorganization meeting July 14 and administered oaths to newly elected trustees before electing officers for the year.
"I, Jody Meyer, do solemnly swear that I will support the constitution of The United States and the constitution of the state of New York," trustee Jody Meyer recited when taking the oath; Theresa McCaffrey repeated the same oath after her. Following nominations, a motion carried to elect David Weinstein as board president and Catherine DiMartino as vice president. David Weinstein then took the oath for the office of board president.
Board members also moved to appoint Melissa (recorded in the meeting record as "Melissa Delverre") as district clerk and administered her oath. The board approved its full reorganization consent agenda (items B1–B49) in a single vote and adjourned the reorganization portion to open the regular meeting.
The reorganization established leadership and administrative assignments ahead of a regular agenda that included curriculum and construction updates and a number of business items.
