The mayor also noted that Dr. Raines championed SB 165, a bill described in the meeting as expanding mental health services and creating opportunities for psychology students and interns in Nevada; the council presented the proclamation and affixed the city seal.
Dr. Raines accepted the proclamation and said she was humbled, thanked the council and emphasized equity and access for children and families in her work.
