North Las Vegas honors Tim Wells as 2025 assistant principal of the year

A council member summarized Wells’ record in school leadership, noting his presentations on leadership and school improvement and commending his work ‘‘in building strong school culture, empowering educators, and driving student success.’’ The certificate presented to Wells is dated 02/04/2026 and was described as signed by the mayor and council.
Wells accepted the recognition at the podium and thanked the city and his staff, saying, "I love North Las Vegas, and thank you very much." Council members and the mayor joined in applause following the presentation.
