Valerie Derrick, deputy director, described construction progress at Craig Ranch Regional Park, saying the facility's new AMP roof will allow staff to "hang sound, hang video wall, and to put on production in a way that we've never seen before in North Las Vegas." She said the roof could be completed by the end of the month but cautioned construction schedules can change.
Derrick cited Placer AI park-usage data and told the board Craig Ranch drew roughly 2.1 million visitors after the new multiuse-field expansion; she also announced an upcoming 20-acre expansion that will increase the park's footprint as additional parking and amenities open. Board members requested renderings and a future update on circulation and pedestrian access near Revere and Craig Ranch.
