Resident alleges mayor made unilateral 4B appointment, urging council review

Staff and members discussed posting application notices in the city newsletter and on social platforms to broaden awareness of future openings.
The allegation in the public comment specifically named an appointment of "Aaron Boyas" to the 4B board and requested the council "oppose or reconsider this appointment until the public can be assured that all legal requirements were properly followed." No legal finding or formal determination was announced at the meeting; councilmembers indicated further process would follow.
