District staff recommend positive certification of 2024-25 first interim financial report

Associate Superintendent of Business Services Aubrey Craig presented the First Interim Financial Report for 2024–25, outlining revenue and expenditure assumptions, the composition of restricted and unrestricted budgets, multi-year projections and ending-balance components as of Oct. 31, 2024. Trustees recorded no discussion and approved the Business Services agenda items, including the First Interim Report (17.1), by unanimous vote. The report was certified for the county submission process as reflected in the board's motion and vote. Board materials list next steps and recommendations for monitoring multi-year projections and any adjustments to assumptions if conditions change.
The board did not amend the staff recommendation at the meeting; the district will proceed with the certification process required by county education officials.
