According to the minutes, the city originally declined an $11,000 offer that included a tax abatement; the buyer later revised the offer to $10,000 without an abatement, which the city accepted and formalized at the regular meeting. The approval was recorded as: "A motion was made by Councilor Andy MacDonell to approve the purchase agreement to Dale’s Autobody for Parcel No. 05-012-3202."
