At its Dec. 10 meeting the Historic Resource Preservation Board recommended the City Commission adopt two land-development ordinances (2025-29 and 2025-30). The board also approved minutes and scheduled orientation/training for new members in January.
The Historic Resource Preservation Board took three formal actions Dec. 10: it approved the minutes from the Nov. 12 meeting, recommended City Commission adoption of ordinance 2025-29 (parking fee-in-lieu and EV-charging alignment) and recommended City Commission adoption of ordinance 2025-30 (LDR updates for industrial uses in IPOC). Both ordinance recommendations passed on board votes recorded in the meeting as unanimous.
Planning staff also told the board that orientation and variance-training for new members will be held at the January meeting. "We are hoping to do orientation and, variant screening again for new members in January," Scott Rodriguez said. The board had no department reports and no disclosures were required; staff will transmit both ordinance recommendations to the City Commission for its consideration.
