"The city is being awarded for its central business district accessibility enhancement grant program," Courtney Johnson said, noting the program helps businesses improve access for customers with mobility needs. Staff and speakers explained the program is financed through interest from an Economic Development Authority (EDA) revolving loan fund and has helped businesses that could not afford the cash outlay themselves.
