County staff said they are pursuing state FIF funding applications that, if awarded, could offset portions of the county matches. “We have recently received news that we have been awarded the grant,” a staff member summarized for the court when presenting the phases; staff also noted that match amounts must be budgeted and appropriated and that the earliest likely cash needs would be in the next fiscal year.
