Town installs computer backup system; recorder-treasurer reports July public-safety calls and business permits

Barnes said Need Geek technician Benjamin Dodge updated the town computer with a new backup system at a cost of $512.99 (software and labor) and "he will come check the computers every quarter to make sure everything is running smooth." The minutes record Barnes reminded council members of the Aug. 17 filing deadline at noon for those seeking election filings.
