Avoca Heritage Trail TAP grant awaiting ARDOT approval, council told

Acting Mayor and Recorder/Treasurer Nanette Barnes updated the council on the Avoca Heritage Trail Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant on Aug. 13, saying the town is still waiting on approval from the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT). Ald. Jordan Sullivan reminded the council that the TAP grant is a matching grant and that reimbursements will apply.
No new schedule or ARDOT response was recorded in the minutes. The council recorded that Tim Gehring (Arkansas Department of Management) was notified about readiness for final inspection on road repairs; Gehring was out of town and would contact the town upon return.
