The Chair opened agenda item 4(e) to start an RFQ for a city engineer and asked staff for the current status of draft documents. "I'm starting a request for RFQ for a city engineer," the Chair said when introducing the item.
A staff member said sample RFQs from Rollingwood and Westlake had been sent to the group about two weeks earlier and offered to forward those documents again. The Chair said the item would be tabled to the next meeting to allow the mayor and the city's engineer time to review templates and samples: "We will table this for now and add it to our next meeting to give us time to receive that so that our engineer can also review the RFQs," the Chair said. Staff were asked to forward the materials to Tony, Cynthia and the mayor and to pair the distribution with Christina.
The Chair directed staff to circulate an updated schedule for review before the next meeting. No formal motion or vote occurred during the discussion; the Chair explicitly delayed action to allow additional review and coordination with the mayor.
