Residents and council spar over $98K driveway transition repairs as drainage needs loom

“This is to repair a problem that was created by the people that came in to repair the street in the first place,” said Carl Linerman, a Woods resident. Other residents and councilors argued the city’s limited funds should be directed to drainage work, which they said is a higher priority in the Woods. Staff and council ultimately did not approve the increase at the meeting and instead agreed to release engineering plans upon request so homeowners or HOAs can pursue localized fixes or coordinate a contractor.
