Stormwater demo: 20‑year flood analytics show county pockets of vulnerability and downloadable project summaries

During the stormwater asset-management demo, Matt Hutchins demonstrated the AccelaDAP shapefile upload and custom-area query features and emphasized the browser-session nature of the upload (files are not stored to the county/Fernleaf database). Using USGS 20‑year thresholds he showed county analytics and example drainage-improvement areas; the tool produced summary tables that can be downloaded as CSVs for reporting or grant applications.
Matt reported that countywide analytics for the 20‑year threshold showed "about 12% of all residences in the county are highly vulnerable to this scenario," and that those properties account for an assessed improvement value cited in the demo. He used two demonstration drainage-improvement areas (Church Creek and a West Ashley area) where the tool enumerated residential counts and showed how future 20‑year conditions increase vulnerability modestly in the example areas. Organizers recommended users download the CSV output and bring that documentation to planning or grant teams.
