The Board considered late rental‑registration appeals on April 30 after property manager Lakeisha Moore explained five units were not registered for 2025 because of staff turnover and office changes. Moore said she had been promoted to property manager and discovered the missed registrations while reviewing records.
After discussion, the Board imposed a $500 late fee for 7113–15 Hohman because of the timing and prior appeal history but waived fees for the other four properties (1462 Summer Street; 1135 Lyon Street; 538 Lewis Street; and 926 Field Street), which had no prior appeals. The motions passed by voice vote. Moore was thanked and told she could pay remaining fees after the meeting.
The Board set administrative follow-up for the controller and licensing staff to confirm registration status and receipt of payments as required.
