Bradway stressed the tribe's active role in local commemorations and flagged the Revolutionary War Memorial project as a site where tribal participation should be central. He noted the memorial list will include 368 names, about 93 of which are Mohican names, and explained there are design and foundry constraints that may require multiple bronze plaques. On ground-disturbing projects he urged consultation: "before you start digging a hole, you start looking to see that there's nothing there," and said the tribe's preference is to leave burials undisturbed and be included in oversight of projects that could affect cultural resources.
