The Liquor and Cannabis Board's executive management meeting on July 8 included a comprehensive IT services presentation led by Stephanie Ratko, the agency's chief information officer. Ratko said the division's priorities are to "modernize our practices and processes to be a proactive and customer centered organization," to develop staff skill sets that provide gapless delivery, and to build "a culture of clarity, collaboration and continuous improvement" to strengthen trust and speed decisions.
Ratko described a department of 47 full‑time employees with five current vacancies and said the group supports more than 250 applications, an infrastructure of more than 300 servers and dozens of network devices and integrations. She framed LEADS, the agency's largest enterprise system, as a Salesforce‑based platform that supports licensing, enforcement and administrative workflows and integrates with many other systems. David Kyun, the product and software quality manager, summarized the teams that sustain those systems, including product management, application support and software quality assurance.
