Jacob Linson (speaker 6) told the Board the work would require traffic control and likely close only a parking lane, not the full street, and estimated the connection would take "about 3 or 4 days for the connection." Board members approved the permit contingent on engineering receiving the required paperwork and being satisfied with the MOT (maintenance of traffic) and permit conditions.
Engineering will complete a formal review and issue the permit when conditions are met; the Board approved contingent authorization to allow the contractor to mobilize MOT while final permit paperwork is processed.
