A presenter told the Hilltop homeowners association board that a state-driven 911 remapping process will affect the Hilltop Lake subdivision and that the team aims to "get through the entire Hilltop Lake subdivision by the middle of next year." The presenter said a firm start date had not been set and that residents would be notified in phases.
The presenter emphasized coordination with internal database managers and county offices, and invited residents to provide local contact information for outreach. "We have been in a lot of discussions... and that's why I'm here today to not only explain this, but to answer any questions that you guys may have for me," the presenter said. Officials said the work will include cross-checks with the assessor, DPS, and voter-registration records to reduce confusion when mapping goes live.
