Waverly recreation reports record flag‑football registration, pool events and dog day

Officials announced a kickoff event on Aug. 8 at Baxter Toyota where players can collect jerseys and other items, and reminded residents that the pool's regular season ends Aug. 9 with weekend hours through Aug. 23. A dog pool party is scheduled for Aug. 23; staff said vaccination records will be required for dogs attending.
