Waverly approves $27,250 contract for RRFB engineering at several crossings

The Waverly City Council authorized an engineering agreement with JEO Consulting Group for up to $27,250 to provide engineering services for RRFBs at several locations in town.
"I move to approve agreement with JEO to provide engineering services for the RRFB in an amount not to exceed $27,250," said a committee member (Speaker 5). Council members identified one proposed RRFB at 148th and Bluff Road and three along 141st Street from Mansfield to Saint Germain during the discussion.
Officials said the engineering contract will define exact placements and required pedestrian-traffic assessments. The contract was approved by voice vote, 3–0, and staff will move forward with engineering scope and site evaluation under the contract.
