A presenter recommended adopting an integrated property-management platform that would combine accounting, collections, maintenance requests and hotel reservations in a single system and said it would save about $3,300 per year while providing features residents and staff could use.
"So right now, $3,300 a year savings, and it's a much more dynamic platform," the finance committee representative said, describing expected savings and features such as group meetings, easier picture updates and guest add-ons. The presenter emphasized that the system requires thorough onboarding and that partial implementation would reduce expected performance.
Staff described maintenance-request workflow advantages: requests would be tied to an individual owner, routed automatically to the assigned worker and create a clearer record of work. Several property owners asked about which modules would be available and about online access; the presenter said the platform would be used primarily for hotel reservations but that staff would be able to update content.
