Denton trustees approve routine minutes, claims and year-end street certification

The Village of Denton Board of Trustees convened Nov. 4, 2024, and approved routine business including the Oct. 3 meeting minutes. Trustee John Juricek moved to approve the minutes and Trustee Amanda Fangmeier seconded; the motion carried.
Trustees also adopted Resolution 24-11-1, the year-end certification for the City Street Superintendent, on a motion by Trustee Amanda Fangmeier and a second by Trustee John Juricek. The board approved Claims List A for $61,415.25, Claims List B for $7,560.14, October payroll of $14,234.22 and a $40,000 transfer from the Keno fund to the General fund; the claims and transfer were approved on a motion by Juricek and a second by Fangmeier. Several smaller purchase motions also carried at the meeting.
