Board appoints Kathleen Schafer as CMSA member-at-large after interview

Board members praised Schafer's technical background and public-outreach experience. A director moved to appoint Schafer as a CMSA member-at-large and to confirm Andrew Poster as the other member-at-large. The motion was seconded and approved by roll-call vote with all five directors voting yes.
The appointment follows earlier discussion about coordination with CMSA and the value of adding technical expertise to interagency governance. The board presented the new appointees with a small token of appreciation after the vote.
