The Monroe School District Board approved administrative and exempt compensation for the 2026–27 school year and then approved the superintendent’s contract for the same year at its July 27 meeting.
Chair framed the administrative proposal as a 2.63% cost‑of‑living adjustment (matching MEA), plus schedule catch‑up adjustments for positions significantly below midpoint. The board moved, seconded and approved the compensation package by voice vote.
The board then took up the superintendent’s contract following completion of the evaluation process. The chair said both the district and the superintendent had landed at a mutually acceptable contract; the board approved the contract by voice vote.
