Board members voted March 3 to reschedule the three-unit box hangars from the 2031 slot to 2029 on the Airport Capital Improvement Plan. Tim Parish made the motion, Scott Brown seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Airport Manager Bill Calderwood noted the FY2026–2027 budget includes $100,000 for asphalt work around hangars.
Members discussed that installing electricity at new hangars would make them more attractive to potential tenants and could help the airport market hangar space. The board directed staff to adjust priorities accordingly and to include consideration of utilities when advancing the project.
