The Ford Heights Village Board approved the regular meeting minutes from April 1, 2026, at its April 15 meeting and authorized small payments for maintenance work tied to Kennedy Lawn.
Trustee Jermaine Hook moved to adopt the April 1 minutes; Trustee Johnny Griffin seconded and the clerk recorded that "the motion has carried to approve" the minutes. The board then left and returned from a closed session called to discuss personnel and litigation before taking up financial items.
After resuming, the board placed on the record a payment of "$100" to Don Seabar and a "600 payment and 3 installments to Don Cremont for the maintenance of Kennedy Lawn near the creek." Those payments were approved by the board during the meeting.
The motions to approve the minutes and the maintenance payments were handled in the regular session votes; the clerk recorded trustees voting yes during the minutes approval roll call.
