Clerk and treasurer report budget and election postmortem; several departments report no updates

County Clerk Brian Gerber told the committee that despite low voter turnout, bad weather and a shortage of election judges, the recent election "went well" and that the county budget is currently in acceptable condition. Treasurer Bev Lower presented a new monthly financial and investment report that board members said they liked; she noted there will be a pie chart on this year’s tax bills.
Other departmental reports were brief: Probation (Janet Dalton), Law Enforcement Financials (Dusty Terrill), Assessments (Symone Morford) and Highway Department (Matt Lower) reported no items for discussion at this meeting.
