Board approves courthouse lawn permits, intergovernmental agreement with WIRPC and 911 board appointments

The board approved use of the courthouse lawn for Rhubarb Fest (June 5 after 5:30 p.m. and June 6) and Antique Days (Aug. 28 after 5:30 p.m. and Aug. 29) on motions by Chris DeMink (second Meredith Morrison) and Chris DeMink (second Tim Arbet), respectively.
The board approved an intergovernmental agreement with WIRPC (motion by Chris DeMink, second Gary Gregg). An intergovernmental agreement with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) was listed but noted to be removed from future agendas with no discussion. The board also appointed Jerad Vogt and Blake Lieving to the Mercer County 911 Board (motion by Chris DeMink, second Tim Arbet) and approved the appointment of Al Zwilling to the Tri‑County Recycling Board.
