Kerman issues a series of proclamations recognizing small business, clerks, police, public works and Mother’s Day

Council used the presentations portion of the agenda to recognize multiple local and ceremonial items. Senator Anna Caballero’s office presented a Certificate of Recognition to Fruta Fresca as the 2026 Small Business of the Year in the 14th Senate District. The council also proclaimed Municipal Clerks Week, recognizing City Clerk Dalia Santana‑Zamudio and Deputy Clerk Marisol Camacho, and proclaimed Public Service Week to city staff.
The council presented a National Police Week proclamation to the Kerman Police Department with brief remarks from Lieutenant Barcoma. The Public Works Week proclamation was accepted by Director Michael Barajas and staff members Alfonso Tinoco, Joseph Sanchez and Harmeen Kaur. Councilmember Hall received a Mother’s Day proclamation.
