Kerman adopts ordinance adjusting council district boundaries to include annexed property

The City Council adopted Ordinance 26-03 amending Section 2.55.060 of the Kerman Municipal Code to adjust the boundaries of City Council Election District Nos. 1, 3 and 4 and add recently annexed property to the district boundaries map. The ordinance was adopted following a motion and second and recorded as a unanimous council vote.
Councilmember Herrera moved adoption of the ordinance and Councilmember Hall seconded; the motion passed 5-0. The ordinance is recorded as Ord. 26-03 and will be implemented through the city’s codification and district map updates.
