Staff said the assessor project had been budgeted at $115,995, leaving a net difference of $2,427.49; the board approved pulling the needed funds from capital contingency, which staff said had a remaining balance available.
A commissioner made a motion to transfer funds from capital contingency to cover the shortfall and the motion carried by voice vote. Staff emphasized the computers are part of routine upgrades and that servers were "desperately needed" to move the assessor's work forward.
