District staff present new governance standard outlining board responsibilities

Staff told trustees the standard formalizes practices the board already follows and asked for feedback. A trustee asked whether staff would report back that evening; staff said the item will move through December review and that trustees will have time to comment before final action. The board confirmed the next meeting date of Dec. 11 and adjourned at about 5:50–5:51 p.m.
