Staff previews PUD concept and two site plans for upcoming meetings

Staff reported the city received a planned unit development conceptual plan last week and two site plans for properties at 340 North Main and 175 Bowers; the PUD will appear on the Aug. 25 agenda and the site plans are expected on Sept. 8 for review and distribution across meetings to avoid crowding the calendar.
"We've received a planned unit development, conceptual plan, last week, and so that'll be in front of the planning commission for review the August 25 meeting," staff said. Commissioners asked whether the applicant had been receptive to DDA feedback on design and green space; staff said the applicant had been receptive and that the commission would have a chance to provide direct feedback when the conceptual plan is presented.
Staff said the department has had a relatively light year for site plans and is planning to balance ordinance work with several upcoming site reviews this season. The commission accepted staff's schedule and asked staff to continue coordinating public noticing and materials for each upcoming item.
