Boardman sets October code review, plans DLCD submission and end-of-year hearings

Jamin Kimmel added that the October meeting will include a full draft of the development code so commissioners can step through the specific standards. Staff and commissioners discussed calendar changes — including moving the September meeting one week to avoid the Oregon Association of Planners conference and holding additional fall sessions — and possible earlier December meeting dates to ensure a council hearing in early January if needed.
The Commission did not vote on the draft timeline but agreed to additional meetings and to receive the October draft packet well in advance for review.
