Presenter Jane Bridal told trustees the district is in its fourth year of implementing the grant and that the program operates approximately 155 days, five days per week, with students required to attend at least 60 days to count as participants. Bridal reported the program exceeded its participation goal this year by 186 students for a total of 1,090 participants. The board voted to approve submission of the application to the appropriate federal authority.
