County presentation recommends converting Ag Building and adding covered storage for public‑works equipment
Summary
Staff showed photos and dimensions of equipment stored outdoors and proposed repurposing the old Ag Building (about 3,200 sq ft plus a 1,200 sq ft office) or adding a new shed to bring county equipment inside and consolidate scattered assets.

Presenter (S2) presented photos of public‑works equipment currently stored outside and argued that moving costly equipment indoors would protect assets and improve operations. "So you can see the numbers there about 3,200 square foot is just the general, closed cottage area... there's, like, a little office type room that's in there that's about 1,200 square foot," the Presenter said.
Members and staff discussed whether to renovate the existing Ag Building or build a new addition, and flagged constraints such as nearby power lines and setbacks that could limit where a new structure could be placed. Presenter said the public‑works storage building is already funded in the budget for certain pieces of work and that other items would be considered in the CIP and scheduled across multiple years.
