Board welcomes school representative and names Alicia employee of the month; vice chair appointed

At the start of the July 28 meeting the board introduced Beth Henshall, the school social work coordinator with Caldwell County Schools, as the advisory board’s school-system representative.
Kelly Taylor, social work supervisor, presented the employee recognition, praising Alicia for consistent professionalism and mentorship; the board formally recognized Alicia as employee of the month. "She consistently goes above and beyond her job responsibilities," Taylor said.
Later in the meeting the board appointed Tracy as vice chair by motion and voice vote. The board also reappointed the incumbent chair to continue serving.
