Ohio Film Futures presents program outcomes to Franklin County Commissioners

“More than 90% of our students chose to return,” said Devin Cawthorn, president and CEO of Ohio Film Futures, who said students train with industry-standard production equipment and build relationships with professionals. “Our greatest success isn't films our students create. It's watching young people discover they belong in this industry,” he added. Cawthorn listed partnerships with the Franklin County Commissioners and several local organizations that he said are helping build “a sustainable pipeline of opportunity.”
Cawthorn also invited commissioners and the public to a student showcase and sponsorship reception in September and introduced Executive Director Antoinette Bates to present student ambassadors. No formal funding vote or motion was recorded during the presentation.
