Commission: Lincoln County stations approved for 'big, safe' grant; kudos to applicants

Chair (Speaker 4) reported that many stations in Lincoln County were approved for a grant described during the meeting as a 'big, safe grant' and credited station staff and applicants for completing paperwork and meeting grant conditions.
"From what I can see, everybody in Lincoln County, all the stations in Lincoln County live before approved for it. So kudos to everybody," the chair said. Commissioners noted that warranty accounts and related grant checks will be distributed and encouraged departments to review incoming funds and associated requirements.
The item was presented as an update; commissioners did not take any formal vote but praised staff work and urged departments to monitor incoming grant disbursements.
