Commission warns: opening other units' reports can create legal risk

"If you go into somebody else's report and you do something, it's tagged and documented... and then you're gonna get criminally or, suitably sued for doing something that..." a staff member said, warning members about potential legal exposure and stressing that users should not share credentials. Other members described instances where someone opened reports from different districts by mistake and noted that some openings were accidental; the commission said chiefs have been notified.
Members asked for clearer local rules and for staff to prepare guidance on permissible access, logging review procedures, and how accidental openings will be handled to reduce liability risk.
