The superintendent thanked staff and the transaction agent for moving the sale quickly, praising Todd Shoemaker’s work on the house and thanking Linda Christiansen, the transaction agent, whose fee of $3,000 the district will pay. "I think this is the best house he's built in my 9 years of watching him build houses," the superintendent said, and added that the quick sale saved the district money in transaction costs.
The motion to approve the purchase offer was called, seconded and adopted by voice vote.
