Commission asks county attorney to request removal from Golden Spike inland port project

Sean Milne, Bear River Association of Governments and Bragg economic development director, told the commission that while several noncontiguous "bubbles" or zones were identified in past inland port participation, there was nothing new and active to report for Box Elder County at this time. "I don't have anything new to report at this particular time on behalf of the inland port or our broad economic development activities," Milne said.
The motion directs the county attorney to draft the letter; no formal reversal of prior agreements was recorded on‑the‑spot and the commission did not specify additional steps beyond sending the correspondence.
